Solar Panel Installation Update

Utility bills are generally approached with dread during the winter months, but Gordon Doxey was ecstatic to receive his monthly bill for November which was dramatically reduced as a result of having a SSP UK PV system installed in September 2011.

Mr Doxey had a 2.4kWp system comprising of 12 Monocrystalline panels attached to the west-facing rear of his property with the view of becoming pound neutral with his utility bills. Mr Doxey stated; ‘Because I work regular night shifts I do not use a lot of electricity, but my gas bills are quite high. The system performed to it's high standards and through the Feed In Tariff payment of £68.41 for a generation of 158 kilowatts achieved this in the month of November where cloudy days and dark afternoons are common, resulting in a gas bill of £28.00 and a electricity bill of -£27.86.
