Mr & Mrs Birch had a 4kWh system installed, after recently having a loft conversion, they where worried that a solar panel system would not be possible.

My wife and I have been considering having solar panels fitted to our roof for over a year, but had trouble finding a company that we trusted or that had solar panels that would make the most of the British weather. One is always anxious when workmen are on one’s premises. I had no need to worry in this case. They turned up right on time and got straight to work. The scaffolding was up in no time, all safely tethered and with the correct safety features. The electricians and solar panel fitters arrived the following day and completed the job more quickly than had been anticipated. While they were working, we discovered a problem involving a warping of my house beams, something I wasn’t previously aware of, but they asked my opinion, gave some advice and even brought Paul Allen himself around to discuss it with us. A very satisfactory solution was reached. Throughout their time with us the workmen were polite and well mannered, focussed on their work and not continuously taking breaks, very clean and tidy and extremely professional. They put the Inverter, meter and RCD unit just where I wanted it, even though it was a little awkward for them, without any hassle or argument.

The solar panels look great, and our neighbours are already asking us questions about them. I am happily recommending SSP UK, because of their knowledge of this new industry, their very high standard of workmanship, and the ease with which the whole process has been carried out. There is one thing I can fault them on – their calculations were not quite correct. We are generating more power than they said we would. That means more income for us and a better return on our investment. We couldn’t be happier.
